  • QuestionDoes it have handles that go back and forth so you can exercise your arms?

    • Answer Kathy We are happy you are looking into purchasing our ProForm elliptical. Yes, the elliptical does have handles. You use them to mount the elliptical while stepping on the pedal in the lowest position. Then, step onto the other pedal. Push the pedals until they begin to move with a continuous motion. The pedals can turn in either direction. The arms will also move as you use the pedals, giving you both a lower body and upper body workout.   • QuestionWhen I take my hands off the outside handles and move them to the inside handles, the display screen goes dark and the count starts over on my workout

    • Answer Andy The two hand-grip sensors built into the handlebars let you see your heart rate while you train. If you are grabbing onto these handlebars mid-workout, the sensor is booting up your heart rate monitor. We’re sorry this starts over your workout. To prevent this, hold the hand grip heart rate monitor with your palms resting against the contacts. Avoid moving your hands or gripping the contacts tightly. For the most accurate heart rate reading, hold the contacts for at least 15 seconds. Your machine is also compatible with Bluetooth Smart heart rate monitors if you prefer that instead.   • QuestionHow difficult is this to assemble?

As any heavy-duty exercise equipment, assembly can be a challenge as the parts weigh a lot and tight connections are required while carefully making sure not wires get pinched. This treadmill in particular needs two people and an hour and a half on average for assembly using an adjustable wrench, a rubber mallet, phillips head screwdriver, plastic bag, and grease packet (included).     • Answer Mae The biggest challenge with assembling any exercise equipment is the heavy-duty materials and weight. This elliptical weighs about 200 lbs all together. To simplify the process, detailed instructions for assembly can be found in the user manual as well as the free app called BILT, where you can find 3D steps to assemble this equipment. Plan for two people to assemble this together and approximately an hour and a half to complete. Contact BestBuy to see what support they will offer for assembly.   • QuestionI live in apartment. Does delivery will be to apartment or package will be left by the main door? I will make sure someone is home to accept the package.

    • Answer They will only deliver to first floor and will not take it upstairs. I have a 2 story house and they refused to take it upstairs where I had room for it. I had to open the package and take it piece by piece to where I needed it.
