Questioncan the Cross Members be cut n shortened so the Rack Open's n Functions closer to the Wall ... i m finding that some Manufactures do allow the Cross Members to b cut shorter n a Hold drillled to permit Locking it open . ?? will this rack do that .?

QuestionCan you do kipping pull-ups on this?

QuestionWhen the weight rack is folded closed and open, is there slight vertical play to allow you to pick up a side and swing it open and closed. Or, is there no play and it has to be dragged across the floor surface?

- Answer Marsh This unit folds open and closed smoothly without play. The lower bracket is to be positioned 1 7/16 (4 cm) inches above the floor over the wall studs that are spaced 16-24 inches apart. This will give enough space that the rack will not drag across the floor surface. When installing, you will need a wall surface at least 8 feet high and 6 feet wide. The upper bracket would be positioned about 76 ⅜ inches (194 cm) above the floor. All assembly and installation instructions can be found in the user manual.
