• A:Answer It comes with only 1 battery that gives you about 7 minutes of flight time. Batteries are like $9 from ProtocolNY, the manufacturer. It is fairly easy to fly. You really have to be careful with wind outside. I'm not sure about the 9 year old kid part. lol
