• You have to remove the tank, take it to your water source and flip it over, unscrew the cap then it's a top fill. This is the only way to fill up. I fill it with filtered water to have less mineral build up.

• You can fill the water tank either from the top or the side. It is very easy and convenient to fill. The appliance uses NO filter.
