Q: QuestionHave a Sony turntable PSLX300 that has a phono and line switch and is plugged into a Onkyo txsr393 and volume doesn’t work till it hits 50.Plugged it into cd and switched it to line.Do I still need a pre amp?

Q: QuestionGoing from a fluance 85 to powered monitor speakers. With NO preamp, it’s of course too quiet. With the Pyle 999, it’s way way too loud. Would this version work, or am I doing something wrong here? Thanks!

Q: QuestionI have a Pioneer PL-570, belt-drive, 80's model. Will this work with it, and would I also need to purchase a seperate amplifier if I only have the turntable? Obviously I would need something with a volumn control.

• A:Answer No, this amp provides RIAA feedback as needed by a phono input and would make a mic input sound terribly Bassy. Also the mic may need a phantom power supply which this does not supply.
