A:AnswerI haven’t seen any wifi or bluetooth valves yet. Doesn’t mean they don’t exist though. I have the Rachio Controller, and the valves are hardwired to the controller. The controller is awesome and it works great. I highly recommend it.
A:AnswerThe Geek Squad in my local store won't install. Told me that in those areas that do this install, they have sprinkler professionals do the install. Call the local store and see if yours has such an agreement.
A:AnswerSetting each one up separately (8 max zones, each) so that they each have their own "name" in the app looks quite doable. "Alexa, run zone 5 on ____ for 5 minutes" will work every time.
A:AnswerIt looks like Rachio offers several options for doing this. See: https://support.rachio.com/en_us/how-do-i-share-my-controller-with-someone-Byu6vUkFD
A:AnswerIt can use 2 moisture sensors (not included). It pulls weather from wifi once connected and will automatically hold off on watering, if you enable that setting. You do not need to provide an additional weather station.
A:AnswerYes, this is compatible with the Rachio 3 controller! For more information I'd recommend taking a look at our help center online (support . rachio . com)
A:AnswerHey! When running the system it takes up to 1 Amp of power, so 120 Watts peak. When it's online but not running it takes around 3.5 Watts. It it sits 24 hours a day for 30 days it adds 2,6 Kw on the electrical bill. Hope this helps!
