• The one you have in base should be glossy. Since the Mercury White is a limited edition, you can probably check one out at local Bestbuy on their display. My mercury white base used as glossy (similar to the apple glossy Desktop). But then later i switched to the advance which still a glossy. Not sure if 2019 or 2018 model has a matte display.
