• It runs off 5v. The other end of the power plug is terminated to a standard 4 pin molex connector.

• Im attempting the same- the box has a label input of “12v (dcsymbol) 5v”. I have assumed 12V (dc) 5A to be its intent (as the 6 strip headers are supposed to be 5v 3 pin). Alternatively it may imply that it takes 12 in with 5 out (not usual note for the input line) or, either is ok for the input the set comes with a molec to barrel power cable but the molex is unusual, (4 pin mold, only three pins there pin 1 to yellow, pin 2 jumper to pin3, pin 3 to black) spring break road trip put my project on hold so i havent tested but am taking a sata 15 power male to molex female adapter to energize the razer unit from the computer power block (and provide synapse from MB) the rgb strips are all external of computer
