Q: My mobo has rgb headers and my case has argb fans. Will this help with the conversion? Thanks :)
A: It sounds like you're in the situation I was in. (Asus Prime X370 Pro, which has only a single 4 pin 12v header.) This doesn't allow a conversion from one header type to another - that is, you won't be plugging it into that 4 pin header. You *can,* however, plug it into an available USB header and use Razer's software to control the lighting. (Which was fine with me as I already have a Razer keyboard and mouse that was using it.)
Q: Does this use DC 5V or DC 12V? Asking as I want to do an external installation of this device.
A: It uses 5V.
Q: Is this item 3 pin or 4 pin RGB? Thanks :)
A: 5V. 3pin RGB connections. All addressable RGB is 5v 3pin
A: The way it plugs into the motherboard is with a micro USB to 9 pin USB header cable, which is included in the box
A: This does not require a motherboard ARGB header, this plugs into a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard and uses a molex to barrel plug adapter for power which is included. Depending on the hub your fans use this may or may not work, this is designed to replace most argb hubs with its own software. it will only control the lights, not the fan speeds. If your fans need a hub to control their speeds, it should accept a signal from this, but this will only power the lights, not the fans themselves
A: It will not, since those things do not have an argb header like strips or fans do.
Q: Will this product come back in stock?
A: It's available on Amazon as well as razer's own site
Q: Does it use the PC's power and if so, how many watts?
A: It does hook into your power supply via MOLEX, but I believe its only used to mainly power whatever you hook up to the controller. The controller itself uses negligible power.
