No. They raise up but not all the way off.

Technically yes if you use hardware tools to remove them from the underside of the chair by unscrewing them from the mounting area.

No they are not. They move up and down. And the arm cushions move inwards to make it fit your game style.

Yes, 3 bolts each armrest.
