• It will work on any camera with a mic input jack. It is usually indicated with a red ring around it on the side of your camera.

• . If your camera has a microphone plug it should work there’s a built-in preamp on the camera if you have one the dead cat kills the wind sound and you don’t need batteries.

• Does it have a microphone plug ? I’m using a 5D mark IV this requires no batteries The microphone I used before required the batteries. records on both channels has stereo plug. previous microphone only recorded on one channel. It required batteries this one works fine and kills the wind sound. That is the main reason I bought this because out side and when the wind was blowing it made it miserable to listen to the video From the onboard microphone.
