If you’re using an av receiver, you could if it has the right pre outs for it, but I would recommend getting speakers that aren’t self powered because a receiver sends its own power to surround speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. But if you really wanted to use these, then you could if you purchased a speaker-level to line-level adapter. These are cheap and commonly sold for car stereo applications where someone wishes to connect a car stereo with only speaker level inputs to a car amplifier with only line-level RCA inputs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These are active speakers (i.e. self-powered) and have their own input / source selection. I guess technically you could use them as rear channels if you can figure out a way to give them just the AUDIO feed for rear L/R from whatever main unit you're using by way of RCA cable / 3.5mm AUX cable / Bluetooth connection (as opposed to the speaker wire coming off of said unit which would be intended to actually POWER your rear L/R channels), but to avoid the headache of trying to figure that out, you might as well buy the passive version of these same speakers at a lower price (or higher-power passive at the same price) and hook them up the traditional way. I think these are intended to only be a standalone 2.0 system with just front L/R (or expandable to 2.1 by using a self-powered sub-woofer plugged into the sub-out RCA from the right/controlling speaker).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’f your receiver has preamp outs for rear on it yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a set of the R-15pm in my home. They are connected to my smart tv via the optical audio cable. I added the klipsch 10” powered sub woofer. This setup sounds better than any surround sound system/ soundbar set up I’ve owned. I liked it so much I went to get the same setup for my dads home. The R-15pm was sold out so he got the 41’s with the same sub. They sound just as good ....just not as loud as they are only 35watts each.
