• The day before release or the day preorders are sold out. Unless its ridiculously popular i think you have plenty of time

• I preordered Returnal WEEKS before the release date and "Worst Buy" didnt get enough stock to complete my order. Post COVID Best Buy shopping has been horrendous. So no, if you wait on pre-ordering most likely you WILL NOT get the game on release day from Best Buy
