Q: QuestionSo this only operates by casting from a phone? Or can apps actually be installed on it? Example: listening to YouTube, must it be cast from my phone or can YouTube app be installed on the actual device itself. Same question for using Google Maps.

• A:Answer Hello! Due to restrictions set by the creators of CarPlay (Apple), you are unable to play videos while the phone is connected to CarPlay. However, when it comes to other apps like Waze or Google Maps, these will be shown on the display. When it comes to downloading apps, these would be downloaded to your phone as opposed to the CPStream.
