Have you tried bringing the cameras and receipt back to a Best Buy(again assuming they're the selling retailer) location to discuss you're dissatisfaction? I'm sure it's likely out of their typical refund policy, but hopefully you get store credit. Hi Accessories, Although the original question is open to interpretation, I don't think that Gail is looking for instructions for proper battery disposal in this case. It sounds like they're disappointed with their experience of an actual in practice 2 week battery life that's far from meeting the specifications in the product description.

I don't know where you live but each county of your state should have a place to recycle/dispose of the batteries. Here is a link that may help you https://www.epa.gov/recycle/used-household-batteries. You can also go to your county's website and look for recycling. Or you can call them. Hope this helps.
