• A:Answer Hi! Yes, you are able to detach it on a daily basis. The camera just attaches onto a clip piece on the windshield, that you are able to slide on and off. The power wire could just be unplugged as well. The mounting that goes on the windshield, just uses a double sided tape to be attached. I can see that piece getting loose over time of repetitive removals. The kit does come with a spare. Hope this was helpful...

• A:Answer You can activate parkin mode by hardwiring the unit to your fuse box with a REXING hardwire kit. That will allow the camera to turn on when it detects strong vibrations from a collision for example.

Q: QuestionDoes this camera have to be running an app to record? Or does it record directly to the camera (memory card) the camera I have now needs to be running an app, it then interferes with apple car play. Can this just record the drive free of wifi or app?

• A:Answer Hi, n o it should not interfere. You can place it on the passenger side near the rearview mirror. It has a very wide angled lens. It is powered with the cigarette lighter charger or you can have it hardwired with the optional hardwire kits.

Q: QuestionWhat’s the app I’m suppose to use to view the camera from my phone, because the one I’m using (Rexing connect) is not allowing me to “live view” from my phone. It keeps loading but never shows a picture after loading???
