The WIFI capability allows you to access the files when you are in close proximity of the camera. When something happens while you are away from the camera, you will not be notified in real time.

You can not enter the menu settings without stopping the recording first. Please try stopping the recording and then enter the menu settings.
This is the same for all of our devices and it is a safety measure to ensure the device is always recording and not interrupted by mistakenly pressing the menu button.

A:AnswerNo, the camera wakes up to record when there is an impact (Smart hardwire kit). When using the intelligent kit, the camera wakes up to record when motion is detected.
A:AnswerYou can retrieve the via SD card or USB transfer to computer. You are also able to watch the videos on the camera itself. If it is not attached to a data source and/or connected to a storage service, it will not save online. I found the app pretty useless myself. I guess you can use that service, but I found there to be too much issue with the app.
A:AnswerYou can twist the right side and enable infrared view within the camera screen menu. You cannot move the camera jtself unless you have bought a mount that allows you to do so. I found one that attached to the rear view mirror. That is how I am able to adjust the angle more precisely. You are unable to move the camera, with the mounting device that comes in the box. You must choose a mounting location carefully or buy an alternative mount from Best Buy, Rexing (online), or Amazon.

Everything you will need is included in the box! If you don't like the mount, there are other options around $10 USD at Best Buy, Rexing, and Amazon.
A:AnswerYes, but only for specific vehicles. I purchased a dashcam installation through the website and they sent me an email to schedule it. Then when I scheduled it they emailed me again saying that I needed to verify the parts and to call them. I called them and the rep told me they could not install the camera in my car make/model, and I've still not got a refund. Afterwards I watched a youtube video and found that my car is one of the easiest to install a dashcam, so I did it myself with the wiring kit that cost $15.
