• A:Answer Hi! Thank you for your message! You mount the small mounting plate using a 3M tape adhesive. You can then remove the dashcam from the mounting plate if needed. The mounting plate stays mounted and you can slide your dashcam off and on when needed.

• A:Answer Rear camera is provided. It works when the car is off if you have the hardwire kit which is sold separately. It connects to iPhone but not the best. Don’t believe it’s CarPlay compatible. Camera quality changes depending on how many cameras you want recording at the same time. The more camera the worse the quality

• A:Answer It would have to be run from the power supply to the rear facing camera. Depending on the distance and the mounts you use, it should be possible. I cannot remember the length of the wire to the rear camera, but after I installed mine, granted it's a smaller SUV, I had about 15 feet of wire I had to tuck away. I would look into extensions just in case you need more length.
