I can't speak on the charging issues I've had the headset for about a month and haven't had any issues yet

We understand your situation, and as with any complex consumer electronic device, this unit is at risk from any number of environmental stressors that can affect the longevity of the product’s lifecycle. It is also reasonable and likely to find negative reviews than positive ones due to its very nature, it motivates people to express their discontent. If you're headset isn't charging please set the Power-switch to the "ON" position. Connect the headset to the charger using a power-source with 5V output. The headset should cycle through the "power on/power off" voice prompts and showcase an indicator light soon after. We recommend to let the headset charge for 4 hours afterwards. If the headset is unresponsive, disconnect it from the charger, move the power-switch to the "off" position and attempt to power-on.
