- Answer The battery is rechargeable and comes with the cord. A fully charged battery on indoor camera is good for about 2 week. The outdoor camera is good for 2 years

- Answer You can mount it on any surface you just screw the plate to the surface you want it on and then you can either set it up how it shows in the picture or you can mount it to the back of the camera just like any other camera and get a great angle.
