“How long does this stay on? Like is it just a motion trigger where it stays on for a minute or so or can I control it & have it stay on continuously. & if so; for how long; would like to place these on my gate entry door.”

Like most Ring lights you can configure a scheduled time to come on, Motion triggered, etc. You also can configure the length of time it stays on. Motion detection is a battery drain imo so make sure you have good direct sunlight to charge.

Because I don’t use my light for motion I can’t tell you how long it stays on once motion is detected. One cool feature is you can link it to other ring devices so if one device is triggered the linked device will also turn on.
