    • Answer My experience with batteries depends on the outdoor weather. I live in a very hot and dry climate and with triple digits I swap out the battery every month. I have a 2 battery charger so one is always charging for this purpose. In cooler weather the battery goes 2-3 longer.

    • Answer Battery lasts at least two week and can house two batteries at the same time. It will warn you as one gets low. You have to buy the additional battery. As one gets low, it switches to the other. About 35 dollars for the second battery and well worth it at Bestbuy. Battery charges in about 3 hours
