Response to Jimwireshopper......... I am trying to catch the middle of the night employee / thief who is preying on the elderly at the assisted living facility where my mother lives. This lowlife steals jewelry and cash while the residents sleep. So Jim, having a red light come on when the camera detects motion and is recording in an otherwise dark room could possibly tip off the thief..... Just saying !! So that Jim is why some people might be concerned about the camera lighting up when in use. Not very stealth like.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There's a red light by the camera lens. It lights when the camera is active and/or recording. Why would you be concerned about this issue?? Sounds like you may be up to no good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can allow notifications on the app via your smart phone, computer and/or the chime network to let you know when the camera detects motion. Then it records a 30 second video which stores to the app that you can watch.
