- Answer Work yes, but I would be concerned with the reflection off the window glass. At night it doees turn on some red LEDs when activated- and I would suspect you would get some glare distorting the image. I have mounted mine outside.

- Answer Definitely removable. Easily pops out, no screwdriver needed. Seen replacements on BestBuy. They are sometimes labeled for the doorbell, not the camera, but the same replacement battery works. I have 3 cams with 1 extra battery. The app gives detailed info on remaining battery life so easy to swap out well before the battery dies.

Questionwill this stick up version work with the solar panel? If not, how long is the battery life?

- Answer Yes it will work with the Ring Solar Panel. I use mine outside as a front door camera with my intercom doorbell. Based on my installation the battery life is going to be 8-10 months. The app shows the usage, and sends warnings when low. The recharge time is recorded at 2-hrs.

- Answer Response to Jimwireshopper......... I am trying to catch the middle of the night employee / thief who is preying on the elderly at the assisted living facility where my mother lives. This lowlife steals jewelry and cash while the residents sleep. So Jim, having a red light come on when the camera detects motion and is recording in an otherwise dark room could possibly tip off the thief..... Just saying !! So that Jim is why some people might be concerned about the camera lighting up when in use. Not very stealth like.

QuestionWe have Dove come back each year and build a nest in a hanging plant. We want to be able to share with friends without a chance of disturbing them. Can I turn off the two way Audio and also turn off the infer red light?

- Answer The audio only works if you access it otherwise it remains silent. You cannot turn off the infrared light which is for recording at night.

- Answer Mine is battery powered. I have it located behind my steel security screen door because I was having problems with a teenager banging my door.. once I put it up, problem solved.. he saw the camera and stopped bothering me. I do not have it wired to my doorbell wires, just battery powered. Battery lasts for quite awhile. Even with watching it live view literally for days on end, the battery lasted over a week. I bought an extra and have it on the charger so when it gets low, I switch it out so I always have it active. LOVE IT!

- Answer Hi Rdeezy, No. However, keep in mind, Ring Stick Up Cam is compatible with b/g/n Wi-Fi networks operating on 2.4 GHz frequencies. It requires a minimum upload speed of 1Mbps, but 2Mbps is recommended for optimal performance. If you do not meet these requirements, your Ring Stick Up Cam will not function as intended. - Answer Rich, the camera has an infrared light and shows the area it is pointed at during the night; it will pick up motion, however, the object(s) are not that visible. If you want to see something in the area real well you will need more light like the camera with flood lights.

- Answer Use Double sided mounting Tape by Scotch or Gorilla which holds 30lbs or More. Works great and will hold for long time. Follow directions for removal as well.

- Answer There should not be anything else you need to do to make this work. Are you trying to talk through your phone or PC or tablet? Make sure the Ring app has permissions to your microphone on whatever device you are trying to talk from. If it has permission you just click the green phone button while viewing a certain camera and it should connect allowing you to talk and hear through the camera.

- Answer It’s 2.4, it’s said that it can recognize 5g but I haven’t seen that. Mine works better than my ring doorbell 2, however try and have 50 feet or less from your modem.
