Definitely removable. Easily pops out, no screwdriver needed. Seen replacements on BestBuy. They are sometimes labeled for the doorbell, not the camera, but the same replacement battery works. I have 3 cams with 1 extra battery. The app gives detailed info on remaining battery life so easy to swap out well before the battery dies.

If you are not concerned with someone stealing the battery, then you could dispense with the security screw. Can’t answer the 2nd part, but you can get them online via Ring or Amazon. Based on my installation as a front door monitor for my intercom doorbell, I would say the battery life is between 8-10 months. The app shows the usage. Apparently the battery can be recharged in 2-hrs.
