• The documentation says approx 6 months of battery life on average. Of course, this depends on how often it gets motion activated or viewed, and there are some settings which will vary battery life (like live access anytime). You definitely want an extra battery so you can just hot swap, but it appears to be fairly easy. Just installed mine, so we will see.
