- Answer You can record selected clips to your phone if you want at least in the first 30 days, such as we do. After that, Im not sure, you may need to get cloud space or something.

- Answer Must have internet, ring cameras and devices are connected to wifi then bounced to ring servers then to your viewing device. You may want to look for a camera that uses onboard storage "micro SD card" that you can remove to review footage. Maybe eufy or blink.

- Answer This camera is not a POE (Power On Ethernet). Power cord that comes with it need to be plugged in to a wall power outlet.

Question1. Is the power plug a barrel type or a micro usb (the side you put into the camera) ? 2. If the plug is a barrel type, can I use an extension cord ? ( plugging the supplied cable barrel plug to a female end of extension and the male end to the camera?

- Answer Barrel type! yes to extension cord but not as you want to use it. The device takes the barrel, the other end you plug into a regular plug. only the barrel will fix in the device, the other end you can use cord if need longer reach. This is not a camera
