• If you have a pre-existing doorbell you can connect it to the hardware of your home to ring your doorbell. Otherwise, you will need to buy a Ring Chime which is a device that plugs into the wall outlet and connects to your home network. When someone rings the doorbell it will make a chime noise.

• If you have a doorbell in the home, this will ring on your phone as well as in your home.Once you replace the front doorbell it is still active in the house..There is a Diode that you can get from ring that let's it ring in the home. Good Luck
