Yes. Charge the battery, download the app and enter the WiFi password. It’s that simple. Works at night as well
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not use Wi-Fi to record and it will work at night.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Battery works same as wired I think...Works great at night but because of low lighting color video changes to black and white. Both are have awesome clarity!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, works exactly the same. You just have to charge the battery every so often. Seems like maybe every six weeks or so. I ended up buying a second battery & just slapped it in when i was notified that the battery was low. then charged the dead battery for next time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, It will record and operate as normal without being hard wired. The hard wiring comes in if you want to use your existing chimes. If you are not hard wiring, I assume you don't have chimes and will need to get Ring chimes in order to hear the unit in the house. With that being said, the motion detector will go off and the camera and speaker functions that come with the unit will work normally. Note that you will need to purchase a $3 per month plan (just the doorbell or per camera) or $10 per month plan for everything in your house Ring (Alarm system, cameras, etc) in order to keep any videos available beyond real time. I do believe the battery is recharged via the doorchime transformer if the unit is hardwired. Buy an extra battery if you are using it battery only (they are easy to change). Hope this helps...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For me I only use the battery and it works very good even at night time.
