Will Ring detect motion thru window glass? null

Hi Dave, Great question. So our battery powered devices such as the Ring Video Doorbell 2, will not be able to detect motion through window glass. Whereas our devices that are hardwired, such as our Ring Pro, will be able to detect motion through window glass at a much better rate. No. Unless you get a motion activated camera that has the window in its range. Or if the ring device is close enough to the window to detect motion in its range.
