Ring 1 needs to be hardwired, Ring 2 is wireless with removable battery pack.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The main difference between Ring 1 and Ring 2 is the camera video quality. Ring one is in 760 and Ring 2 is in 1080. I love the Ring two and you can see a good distance and the video quality is awesome
