A:Answer Assuming that the screws are not in place (if they are, take them out, for God's sake), you just have to work at it. Get someone with strong thumbnails and strong hands to pry it off for you. That's the technique I used when I (a first-timer) couldn't get the damned thing off myself. Once you've done it once, you won't be so concerned that you're doing something wrong. The instruction booklet should address this, but doesn't.
