Mine is mounted in my porch so it doesn't receive any direct wet weather. It comes with a base that has to be screwed down then the doorbell attaches to the base and is locked in place with security screws. I suppose you could use double-sided 3M tape to mount it to your fifth wheel however I don't know that I would trust that to stay on as you're driving down the road. It's a rather expensive piece of equipment to lose from the bumps and jostling I'm driving.
