First question would be what are you mounting to? Flat surface - wood, brick or masonry WITHOUT electrical power wiring - probably not too difficult. If you are trying to attach to an existing doorbell electrical box like I was, then big problems. My install uses the old doorbell wires for 24 volt electrical input so I don't have to recharge every so often. Hence my problem trying to attach to the existing box. Hookimg up wires from your current doorbell to keep the unit charged is very easy as well. It’s all low voltage so no worries about getting electrocuted. I had mine hooked up and running in about a half hour.
