Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between this model RFG11482 and the cheaper model RFG1148 which are both 30 feet and 16 AWG, have the same specs, but one is cheaper ?

• A:Answer If you look at your speaker wire you will notice that one of the two strands is marked with "+" symbols. This helps you connect the red (+) on your amp/receiver to the red (+) terminal on your speakers. Do the same for black (-). If you switch from red on the amp end to black on your speaker it will be out of phase and will not create sound properly. You will definitely notice it.
