Plug Going Into Outlet Two questions:

1. Is the plug coming OUT OF the surge suppressor a 2 or 3 prong plug?

2. Do the prongs coming out fold flat when the unit is not plugged in and you are travelling?

I visit a lot of offices and need an adapter that will not damage my briefcase when travelling. I have an outlet adapter similar to the Rocketfish without surge suppression and the wall plug can be plugged into the adapter itself when not in use.

The suppressor has a 3-prong plug that goes into the lower outlet of a standard double outlet. There's also a small plastic peg that fits into the grounding hole of the top outlet to help keep the suppressor in place when cords are being plugged/unplugged. The prongs and the plastic peg are fixed and do not fold into the unit for travel.

1) it is a 3 prong, it covers both of your outlets
2) no, they do not fold but it is really sturdy so you could easily put it in a suitcase or purse to carry it around and I highly doubt it would break

It has 1 three prong plug (on what would be the bottom outlet, if the ground post is on bottom). It also has a little plastic pin in the center, where the screw goes to hold the faceplate on the outlet. The prongs do not fold up for travel.
