QuestionIs this item safe for a tv to plug intoI would like to know if I am able to plug in a 50 inch TV, a PlayStation 3 console, a cable box and and few other things safely in this product simultaneously .

QuestionPlug Going Into OutletTwo questions: 1. Is the plug coming OUT OF the surge suppressor a 2 or 3 prong plug? 2. Do the prongs coming out fold flat when the unit is not plugged in and you are travelling? I visit a lot of offices and need an adapter that will not damage my briefcase when travelling. I have an outlet adapter similar to the Rocketfish without surge suppression and the wall plug can be plugged into the adapter itself when not in use. Thanks in advance for your reply.

- Answer The suppressor has a 3-prong plug that goes into the lower outlet of a standard double outlet. There's also a small plastic peg that fits into the grounding hole of the top outlet to help keep the suppressor in place when cords are being plugged/unplugged. The prongs and the plastic peg are fixed and do not fold into the unit for travel.

QuestionCan this device be reset after a surge or is it only good for one protection event?In other words, do I have to purchase a new one every time a surge trips the device? I have a lot of line noise on a set of nice Bose speakers which I'd like to filter/suppress. Will this device do such?

- Answer No it has a one time protection. You can not reset the device after a serge.

Questioncan I use this internationally?Can I use this while traveling to Europe, plugging it in to the 220V wall outlets via an adapter? This adapter just mates the European female outlet to the plug on this unit, it does not change the voltage. I will be plugging in cell phone chargers, etc. that are OK with 220V. The question is, do the USB ports still work, and does it pass through the 220V connection?

- Answer No. Look up the plug configuration for the UK and EU. The configuration, current and frequency of power is different. You would need and adapter that has two plug converters side by side and no such product exists. I am an electrical engineer. Just buy a universal power adapter online or at the airport.
