A:AnswerAssuming you have wifi I would highly recommend Tablo. It is fantastic. There is a nominal monthly fee ($8) to get future programming information. So far I haven't missed my cable at all.
A:AnswerYes, but it depends on the video app you are using. Most apps use a system that judges your internet speeds and adjusts the quality of video accordingly. If your internet provider "throttles" your streaming capabilities then your videos will be the right aspect ratio (16x9) but look very compressed and messy. Use a direct connected line to your home router to ensure the fastest internet streaming speeds.
A:AnswerI have timewarner and through the app I am able to watch tv via Internet. Roku is like Netflix to a degree you just add apps to the things you want to watch. If you have cable certain channels need a code for them to be watched via Roku. I hope that helps
A:AnswerConnect the HDMI from your Roku to an audio receiver, then connect the audio receiver to your TV. Most newer audio receivers are built for this and have multiple HDMI-in ports and then at least one HDMI-out port that goes to your TV.
The other way is to connect all of your HDMI devices to your TV and then use the TV's audio-out ports to connect to a receiver. Then you have to adjust the TV's sound menu. This will work with older receivers that don't have HDMI ports.
A:AnswerNo usable memory for storing media. To the best of my knowledge, the SD card is only for storing apps/games (at least while using official firmware).
A:AnswerIt looks like you can access Kodi though some funky screen mirroring from another machine. http://www.thestreamingadvisor.com/2014/10/07/how-do-you-mirror-on-roku/
Plex works fine, thoughI'm not as satisfied with their older interface they have in there now.
I switched from XBMC to Plex and haven't looked back. Keep reading up on Kodi + roku. Maybe someone will figure it out.
A:AnswerIn answer to your question if this will work in an RV in an area that has free Wifi, yes it will. Depending on the useage of the wifi and how many mbs the site has(if the wifi has enough width to cover how many people maybe using it),it may take a while to stream movies. It will work, but not knowing how many people are tapped into that wifi makes it difficult to say how well it will work. I will say, either way it is a smart purchase. If it doesn't work it will make a great gift to someone. Hope this was helpful,Grimmreaper
A:AnswerYes, there is an official SiriusXM Roku channel. If your subscription gives you access to using the SiriusXM app on a mobile devices, this will work just fine. I have an old grandfathered lifetime subscription (pre-Sirius+XM merger) that does not include streaming app access without paying extra. If in doubt. Call SiriusXM and ask if your account has access. Hope that helps!
A:AnswerThere are some apps which could be used for it, but your best bet is an antenna and get all the local channels including QVC and all Univision (4 I believe)
A:Answerthanks so much i figured they had some type of splitter ill have to go to the store and hopefully they will be able to give me the right thing i need instead of me ordering online and then having to go to the store anyway
