QuestionCan the stands ( feet ) be reversed on the 55 inch Plus. With them outward it will not fit my current situation but inward it probably would. And if so what are the dimensions with them inward. Thanks

- Answer It looks like the DirecTV Universal Remote is incompatible with the 55" Plus Series 4k QLED TV major control functions (on-off/volume control, etc.)... perhaps incompatible with all ROKU TVs... A probable major ROKU design flaw I think. Other 2023 Smart TV test OK in Directv Remote compatibility tested TCL, Toshiba, and Insignia OK for Directv Universal Remote compatibility. I would appreciate a certified ROKU technical expert comment... respectfully, NO opinion from non-techie users needed or wanted. Thank you.

QuestionI see that you’ve finally updated the WiFi to WiFi 6, but have you finally updated the Ethernet port to gigabit, or is it still stuck in the early 2000’s with its 10/100 port?

- Answer It's apparently still 10/100, which is pretty bizarre in the year 2023, where a 10/100/1000 NIC must cost pennies to include.. It's one of the main reasons I'm considering not purchasing this..

QuestionCan I hook up a separate Sound device via the optical output (such as a wireless headset for hearing impaired) and not mute the TV speakers so that both hearing impaired and others can all listen together? .

- Answer I have an older Roku TV with an optical output. I have it hooked up to the tv streamer for my hearing aids and it works fine. Both the hearing aids and the speakers function at the same time, but there is a slight lag between the two and it sounds like I'm in an echo chamber. There may be some adjustments you can make to the audio to eliminate that but I usually just turn off the bluetooth.

QuestionWill this TV support audio via 3.5mm jack on the TV and simultaneously allow the speaker on the TV to produce sound? (FM transmitter for seniors to hear and TV speaker for normal hearing people to hear sound simultaneously.

- Answer No, it will not. When you insert the 3.5mm cable jack into the headphone output socket in the TV, it mutes the speakers and there is so way to change this in the TV's Settings.

- Answer Roku devices will always attempt to display content at the best and highest resolution available. The good news is that this Roku-branded TV can be configured to automatically display the native format of each movie, video or TV show. This will help your TV to adjust the resolution upwards or downwards to best suite the program that you're watching. You'll only need to ensure that the display settings are set to Auto-detect and your refresh rates are set to auto-adjust. Note: the auto-adjust display refresh rate setting may not be applicable to content from certain channels. Happy Streaming!

QuestionThe 4 screws for the 2 stands/legs are incredibly difficult to fit into the TV. I did a "pre-thread" too but it's an excessive amount of force just to go in 70% of the way. It started to strip to top of the screw. How can I get these to fit?

- Answer I’m seeing this posting late, so I assume you went no further To be honest I never installed the factory feet because I started using a Sanus swivel stand for all my TV’s on a stand I certainly will check to see if the screws fit, and if not update this post

However, it is possible to modify how HDR or Dolby vision content looks. To do so, begin playing your favorite movie or show, press the star (*) button and adjusting the picture settings to your preference.
