I am using a Roku with a very old tv. You need the one with RCA outputs. Therefore, quality is not optimized. If your DSL is slow, the Roku will not improve speed and is no optimized for slow connections.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no idea about the Dish connection, but if your internet connection is too slow you may have a problem anyway. You probably should check that your dsl speed is at least above the minimum needed for streaming services. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.With the Roku stick will be difficult to use with the old tvs that don't have HDMI ports. I believe they sell the Roku 1 with the capability to connect with a/v cables. All of them will need decent streaming speeds to give you the best experience out of it. Not sure if it will work with the dish box.
