“I have roku ultra that does not see my t mobile 5 ghz network. The 2.4ghz has jitter, buffering etc. Do I need a new roku?”

• How far is your Roku Ultra from your wireless router? 5GHz, by its nature, is a much smaller wavelength, which makes it harder to get through walls/ceilings. Have you tested the Roku by running a CAT5 cable from it to a port on your router, just to make sure you have bandwidth?

• It probably is too far from your router. You can try installing a WiFi extender. Doing so resolved a similar problem for me. Or use a wired ethernet connection direct to the Ultra.
