No beheading needed. Comes with a trash bin installed. Just pull it out and empty it.

Hello JanB, as stated by other users, there is no need to lift the top as it comes with a pull out bin.

You don't have to lift it off.  The collection section pulls out and you dump it like you would a trash can.  Use a big bag because the collection section is big (but light!)

There is a bin. You just pull out the bin from the front of shredder. It slides in ans out. You don't take top off. Very easy. Not heavy at all.
