Q: QuestionWhy don't Samsung stylus' work for any Samsung tablet? Are they somehow programmed to only work with the stylus they were sold with? Seems odd.

• A:Answer Samsung makes certain tablets designed to work with S Pen. If the tablet originally came with a S Pen stylus it should work. Tablets that do not come with an S Pen are NOT compatible and the S Pen will not work on them. Kind of stupid design in my opinion, but is kind of the same issue Apple's Pen has with iPads. Only the iPad Pro supports the Apple Pen - iPad Air does not.

Q: QuestionIs this compatible with Galaxy Tab A 9.7?Hello, I have the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 that does NOT come with a stylus. (There is one of the same name that comes with a stylus and is more expensive.) The model number of my device is SM-T550NZWAXAR. The specs on this pen say it's compatible, but I just read the one review of this stylus, which said that the pen doesn't work with Galaxy Tab A. So... Does this work with my tablet or not? Or, does it only work with the Galaxy Tab A that comes with a stylus? Thanks, Janis

• A:Answer IT ONLY WORKS WITH THE TAB A THAT COMES WITH A STYLUS.... IF YOU GOT THE TAB A that DIDN"T have a stylus with it when you bought it, then THIS STYLUS DOES NOT WORK... IT IS ONLY A REPLACEMENT STYLUS if you lose the original one that came with the tablet...
