QuestionIs the pencil holder on the side of the iPad that charges it or is it on the opposite side?

- Answer The pencil holder slot is on the opposite side. But you can still attach the pencil to the charging side and close the case with no problem. Of course it won’t charge the pencil when the case is closed.

- Answer The iPad charges the Apple Pencil - the pencil attached magnetically to the iPad even through the case. However, putting the pencil the the slot at the bottom of the case will not charge the pencil.

- Answer It’s probably close to a pound although after using the iPad without a case, it felt more like 5 pounds. It’s pretty heavy even without the keyboard in. The keyboard itself is actually very light so the bulk of the weight comes from the case itself.

- Answer Yes, but not very well. The Touch ID is recessed when it’s in the case so it’s not an easy touch.
