• A:Answer Your Cpap machine should be dual voltage and in that case you will only need the adapter. If you want to use it just to be on the safe side it will work fine. I used it for 3 weeks with no problems or over heating.

Q: QuestionAlso, on this converter/adapter I see only a two-prong socket, whereas as my US appliances have in most cases a three-prong (earthed) plug. Seems that that is not going to fit. Therefore, converter can only work with a two-prong plug ?

• A:Answer It does have only the two prong access but most apppiances I have used overseas (toothbrush charger, hairdryer, shaver, celll phone) have two prong plugs without the grounding prong. Otherwise, you can buy an adapter to “daisy” with the converter to use a three prong into the two prong. Just came back from using it in Europe and it was great!! It turned out to be much better than the one I had been using for years.
