    • Answer So long as it has an extra open name slot it should work fine. I am unaware if this specific laptop has an extra gen 5 compatible slot, so I would recommend looking into that. If not, perhaps go with a gen four ssd like the 990 pro.

    • Answer It should run at at least 14000 megabytes per second, however I would not recommend buying this product in particular if you know for a fact you only have a gen four comparable slot. I would recommend a 990 pro, Samsungs previous flagship ssd which will perform at about the same speeds for less money in a gen four slot.
