- Answer Yes you can. I purchased an extended warranty, for the longest period. A note of importance. The last time, I tried to renew an extended warranty after it expired, was met with renewal is not available. I suggest you take out the longest extended warranty with Best Buy. The first time, the microwave lasted just slightly under 4 years, and, the last time it lasted just over a year. Something to note, only the clock is lighted and the key pad is not lighted. Difficult to see, if a light is not shinning on the key pad.

QuestionIs it really safe to use the grilling rack in Combi mode? I always thought having any metal in the oven when microwaves are active would cause damage to the oven. Is there anything special about the grilling rack?

QuestionI just bought this microwave and read the manual cover to cover and no mention of the two pieces that look like a grill and a browning plate - so how do I use these pieces and when (I get the grilling part, but what is the other piece?) Thanks.

- Answer I believe that the manual indicated to put the browning plate on the glass plate and put the grill on top. Supposedly the browning plate is supposed to brown the bottom of the food. So far I tried it once and it didn't seem to work. I'll try again.

- Answer The owner's manual says it is NOT for built-in installation. The microwave is large by itself, but in addition, requires quite a bit of space for safe ventilation.
