“Can this replace a microwave with the same width but different height/depth? I had a Whirlpool GH5184XPS7 over the range microwave but it's broken. The whirlpool microwave's dimensions are H=17 1/4, W=29 7/8, D=15 7/16. I'm wondering if this Samsung microwave can replace it without making any adjustment given that the width is exactly the same but height and depth are slightly different? If not, is there any other product you would recommend?”

I had a whirlpool previous to this and the height and depth were a bit off as well. I measured the opening and found that this microwave actually fit better than my whirlpool. It doesn't stick out as far and doesn't stick out of the bottom as far. I would recommend measuring first to be 100 percent sure, but it should probably work

Samsung microwaves come with the installation hardware and templates so you can install them over a range, regardless of whether another microwave had been installed there previously.
