• No it is plugged in. I think the plug is on the right side.

• The SMH1622, like other Samsung over the range microwaves, has a factory-installed, grounded, 3-prong cord and requires a 120V/60 Hz, dedicated 20-amp connection. The power cord is located on the top right side of the microwave. - Ms. Samsung
