“Are there any required accessories to install the oven for the recirculating/ventless fan? The installation instructions are unclear on this and the printed materials show the oven with a "grill" in the top portion of the front fascia and the oven does not have this feature.”

When installing the SMH1713S using the recirculating vent feature, it's important to check the blower motor to be sure it's angled in the right direction to blow air out the front, and the charcoal filter should be installed to filter the air. No additional accessories are necessary for the venting. Some of the illustrations in the manual reflect the exposed vent design rather than the hidden vent, but the installation process is the same.
